Beit is the Hebrew letter "B". It starts the Torah, in the word
Bereishit, which means "In the beginning...". Its full spelling,
"bayit" means house in Hebrew. House refers to God's dwelling place
on earth. The seed like forms in the sky of this collograph represent the
archetypal energies as they descend down the ladder of creation, to become
manifest on the earth. The two rectangular forms in the earth are symbolic
of the holy gates to the earthly realm, as well as the duality of opposties
that we all experience here. Although heaven and earth appear separate - they
are made of the same divine material in different form.
