Aleph is one of the three mother letters in the Hebrew
alphabet. It is the first letter of the alphabet. It is associated with the
primal creative force which emerges from nothingness. Aleph is a silent letter,
bringing into form that which can't be grasped. This collage uses images collected
from magazines and photos to represent swirling primal energies, divided waters,
and cosmic man emerging from the void. The shape of the letter itself is three
dimensional, raised a quarter of an inch above a sky blue background with
twinkling spheres - representing the first seed like forms of creation.
